==============================================================

MASK has served the Kingstowne community of Fairfax County since June of 2001.  Traditional karate classes are available for all ages and levels of experience.  Jujutsu classes are available for ages 16 and over.  Our mission at MASK is three-fold:
  • To develop the health and character of our members through the practice of karatedo and jiu-jutsu.

  • To educate our members in the art and science of self-defense as embodied in the Shitoryu school of karatedo and Shuri-te Jujutsu.

  • To prepare our members for black belt testing through the World Shitoryu Karatedo Federation or International Shuri-te Yudansha-kai.

Classes are offered in conjunction with the Kingstowne Residential Owner's Corporation (KROC).  MASK offers instruction right in the heart of the community.  Traditional karate classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Snyder Center (6450 South Van Dorn Street).  Tot's Karate and jujutsu classes are held on Saturdays at Kingstowne's South Center (6080 Kingstowne Village Parkway).

MASK offers high-quality martial arts instruction at a reasonable tuition.  Class sizes are limited to ensure the quality of instruction.  If you are interested in our program please contact
Sensei Brian Oviatt for additional information.
